As you can see, Ethan is starting to dabble in a few different hobbies. Vacuuming, swiffering, talking on the phone (pretend only at this point), exercising, cooking, doing dishes, watching You-tube, and eating "sauces." He is growing up fast, and we are really loving this age. He even goes to bed on his own (most of the time).

Trip to Greenbrier WV
We went to Lewisburg, WV where Scott had a conference at the Greenbrier Resort. It was pretty amazing, and we felt totally out of place. We stayed at a much cheaper hotel, but it was fun to wonder around this place a little bit. Of course our oxidized Honda looked so spiffy next to all those Mercedes and BMW's in the parking lot. We got lost in the Greenbrier a little bit, but my favorite room that we saw was the ballroom. Anyway, the town had a carnival and we didn't get to stay very long, but Ethan did get to ride a couple of rides and he did really well on them. It helped that he was with Scooby and a gorilla to share the fun with.
Halloween Happenings
Alright, so the sequence is all weird, but here it is. Ethan loves to help with dishes, so I let him. Then I took him to the Trunk or Treat at the church. He was in wonder of all the kids in their costumes, but he didn't mind eating his collection of goodies. (Ok, all we let him have were the M&M's but he was ok with that).

Pumpkin Farm!
We just got back from an amazing trip to Idaho where we forgot to take our camera. So, since I learned by lesson, I took way too many today at the pumkin farm. It was a lot of fun and here are just a few. The fall colors here are really pretty right now, but our camera doesn't really do them justice. Ethan saw animals, picked out a pumpkin, road a tractor ride, went through a corn maze, jumped on trampolines, etc... It was a lot of fun and he didn't really want to leave.
Finally, an update!
For Labor Day, we went to the Pittsburg Zoo. Ethan was most impressed by the elephants, monkeys, and penguins. It felt so strange to be out doing something normal as a family, but it was a great day. We also got new cell phones that day since Ethan had broken Scott's. At least he did it on a day when we could do something about it.

We Bought a house!
After a year of many changes in our lives and batting the idea around for months, we decided to take the plunge again. Everything just fell right into place and we are really excited about this house. The closing is May 26th which will give us a couple of weeks to get moved before our lease is up. It's such a relief to know where we will be living and to have found a more affordable option.
